Grape varieties: Corvina 40, Corvinone 40, Rondinella 20%
Vinification: The grapes , harvested in the end of September , a redistributed on plateaux, large wooden trays and dried for 90 days in our fruit cellar Each grape loses about 40% of its weight due to the water loss , thus gaining a higher concentration of sugars . Once pressed , the grapes are left to macerate for about 30 - 40 days at a low temperature ( 18° C ).
Ageing: 2 years in French oak barrels ( 25hl )
Characteristics: a dark intense red garnet color , with spicy and complex aromas of ripe fruits. Hints of chocolate and coffee. Very well balanced finish.
Food pairings : it can be drunk with red meat, game, aged cheeses but it also perfect as a meditaton wine at the end of the meal.
Alcoholiccontent: 16.5%
